The instrumental progressive metal solo project of Jean-Michel Audet. Amygdala Hijack I is his first solo album; he previously played in Karmatik, across two albums.

The album is about the amygdala hijack: a human facing the choice to fight, flee or persevere. The whole identity flows from it, down through the stone to the amygdala, found alight.
